By bike around Písek

Today's popular cycling has a long tradition in Písek – Velocipedist Club in Písek was founded in 1887 by Augustin Reiner in the restaurant U Reinerů and was one of the first cycling clubs in Bohemia. After rebuilding the club in 2007, from time to time you can meet people on high bikes even today :-)

Many biking trails pass through today's Písek, and cycling trails can be also found here. The terrain in the city and its surroundings is largely rugged, but you can also go on flat tracks along the Otava and Blanice rivers.
