Sladovna

This extensive building for the production of malt for brewing beer was built from 1862 to 1864. After the municipality took over, the renovated Sladovna was opened in 2007 as a cultural premise. The permanent exhibition of Malting introduces you to the original purpose of the house. Most visitors stream into interactive exhibitions focussing on children and their development through play and creativity – Pilař-Playground, “The Anthill”, “Nest of Illustration” etc. A café is located on the ground floor from the river's side.
