The information board on Velké náměstí (Great Square), on the corner of Karlova Street, offers an innovative way to get to know Písek. This board not only presents interesting facts about the town, but also offers audio recordings about Písek and its surroundings.

The yellow and white trail

For those who want to explore Písek on their own, we recommend the 12 km long town circuit. Simply follow the white and yellow markings, which will take you to all of the town's main sights. This circular route is ideal for discovering the historic town centre, the impressive architecture and the hidden corners of Písek.
