For a great panoramic view of Písek, we recommend visiting the main tower of the Písek Deanery Church, which now serves as a viewpoint. You can book a visit here or at the Písek Tourist Information Centre.

You can also enjoy stunning views of the region from several lookout towers.

• The closest one, Jarník, is located about 4 km from the town center. This tower features separate staircases for ascending and descending. Its viewing platform, 35 meters above the ground, offers breathtaking views of the Písek Hills, the town, and the surrounding countryside.
• Deeper in the forest near Albrechtice nad Vltavou, you’ll find the Vysoký Kamýk lookout tower.
• Another great option is Velký Kamýk, located 6 km from Písek in the direction of Strakonice, near the village of Velké Nepodřice.
• Alternatively, you can visit the village of Čížová, just a few kilometers from Písek, and enjoy a scenic view from St. Jacob’s Hill.
