Palackého Gardens
This municipal park was created on the site of an abandoned moat and rampart that once lay in front of the town walls. In 1841, the Empire-style Schrenk Pavilion was built to honor its founder. Nearby, visitors can find a monument dedicated to historian and politician František Palacký, as well as a memorial to poet Adolf Heyduk.
Palackého Gardens frequently host cultural events, particularly in the area between the theatre and the music pavilion. The park also offers several dining options, including the historic 'U Reinerů' inn, which has been in operation since 1844.
The park is freely accessible all year round.
